Yankumi is a super hero again!! This time, she is a super hero not only to her students but to the whole country of Japan. Saving them from a corrupt candidate for presidency, Yankumi only proves that she is also about saving people beyond her responsibilities. In this movie, school life has just gotten BIGGER.
What's good about the movie? Characters from Gokusen series 1-3 are there! You missed them right? See them all together in a one big action - helping each other, reminiscing their school lives. The movie shows what happened to Yankumi's students after graduating.
But hey, there are also new students that are worth watching. Like how Yankumi tries hard to get her students' trust from the start, Gokusen: The Movie is still very "Gokusenky".
And what's not so good about the movie? Some super BIG characters from the past series aren't there. of course we all know there are too many students and characters who became part ofYankumi's life, but SHIN OH SHIN... he's the missing link!
I think that it should be Shin who's there and not Kame-kun. For whatever reasons they have, or for whatever Jun's reasons, the movie is still a good one. Not as good as the series, but still Gokusen fans should watch it.

Two opposite people, having the same love for music, fall in love with one another... it's a crazy love story!
Music lover? Classical music lover? Yes? Then this one's definitely for you. Buy hey, that doesn't mean that the drama is only for those who are interested in music. It's for all of us who have a heart!
Nodame Cantabile is a story between two different individuals. One is Chiaki Shinichi who is a very serious man. Feeling stranded in Japan because he can't ride a plane (or shall we say he has a phobia!), the man feels hopeless. What is his talent if he'll just be in Japan? How far could he go if he's stocked in a place where his dreams are just too far to reach? Chiaki then lives his life in Momogaoka as the top student; being a very arrogant, selfish student.
Also studying in Momogaoka, Noda Megumi or simply "Nodame" is a weird pianist living just beside Chiaki's residence. Her talent in piano is unusual, she plays the piano by ear and not by looking at the music score. Definitely, there are no questions about how weird the girl could be.
The two then meet accidentally, with Nodame falling in love with Chiaki very easily. Helping him in ways she knows, Nodame suceeded to help Chiaki in his phobia. All along the story, we would see how Nodame opens up a new world for his so-called "husband", Chiaki. And in the very same way, we would see how Chiaki composes Nodame's life... Filling each other's lack and deficiency, Nodame and Chiaki's love story is just a love story worth watching!
Seriously speaking, I wasn't into classical music when I watched this jdorama... weeks later, I've been wanting to listen for more! Beethoven, Chopin... they have music which sounds very soothing.
Along with many other cool characters, this drama will surely tickle and touch your heart and ears. Fall in love with the drama. Fall in love with the music!

If you have to choose between three different persons, all are just unique enough to be lovely, what would you do?
Surely, choosing between three gorgeous-looking men would be one of the hardest things to do. Now, I give you these three characters from different doramas... and the rest is up to you!
Shibita Rihito (Mei-chan no Shitsuji)
Who wouldn't love a gentleman? Protecting and guiding you from almost everything you do, isn't he worth the drool? I so love Rihito-sama in everything that he does, it's as if every stare from him will make me melt! The song
of Bryan Adams, (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, fits for him.
But first of all, it's the actor who brought Rihito-sama to life that we all should thank. Mizushima Hiro, once again, proved his attractiveness and acting skills in this drama.
Mei-chan, you are just one hella lucky girl!
L Lawliet (Death Note)We all love mystery! "Mysterious is sexy", I read before from
Questor, the ultimate anime magazine.
A weirdo, a genius, and a totally unique man full of mystery - L is just simply one of the loveliest persons in the entire anime/drama world. The way he sits, eats, holds, etc - all are very captivating, fascinating. (Well, sorry for the haters, they just haven't proved any point at all)
It could be that this role for Ken'ichi Matsuyama has been the best (as of now) of all the roles that has been given to him.
Kusano Akira (Nobuta wo Produce)
Oh yes, the word cool says it all.
Isn't Akira just cute enough in every factor? Perhaps it's the expression that he shows. Perhaps it's the friendliness. Well, whatever, Akira certainly proves that he's not the usual guy you'll get to meet wherever.
And yes, he is also a weird, funny man. But the weirdness, kindness, and cuteness - they all sum up to this very cool man, Kusano Akira. This man who doesn't judge someone by the outer layer is definitely a man worth dreaming about!
Three drool-worthy, astonishing men. One is a gentle man butler, one is an effingly cute genius, and one is a very cool high school student... choose!
*Nose bleeds* Tissue please!

There are times when I think of the most stupid things in the world and end up asking myself, "why am I even thinking of this?"
Not being so immature, I was hurt to see Yamapi's scandalous but sexy pictures from ANAN Magazine. I guess we all loved him when he played the role of Akira from Nobuta wo Produce. "Kawaii" you'll say. But then on, this hunk has so much to show! Aside from his singing, dancing, and acting skills, and his cute looks, Tomohisa Yamashita has more!
ANAN Mag successfully showed that one thing we weren't able to see before- Yamapi's sexiness! Showing things that, for some, should just have been hidden, the magazine made me shocked! *Akira shock!* But I was able to move on very fast. The thought that he's a grown up man made me think that he's just showing what he has, proving what he can.
One very lucky girl, huh? Yamapi only proved his preparedness for more mature roles. From child star to the cutie hunk we know now, he definitely has talent... and definitely, he belongs to where he is right now!
Fans of Yamapi are definitely looking and anticipating for more now. Drooling, huh? Let's wait and see where he's heading to. Yamapi, stay yummy!
