The Naked Kitchen

What's the point? I don't know.

Just a day ago, I (with my sisters) decided to watch the movie The Naked Kitchen. Sounds tasty, right? Oh well, more than the kitchen and foods thingie, the movie is about love.

The movie started with Mo-rae and Sang-in’s one-year wedding anniversary. On that very same day, Mo-rae had a sex with a man whom she doesn't even know. Kinda weird, right? Oh well, guilty enough for what happened, she told it to her husband... and through it all, her only excuse is her dizziness. Sang-in then told her to forget about it as if it never happened, forgiving Mo-rae very easily. The whole issue of the story started when the stranger, named Du-re, comes to their home to help Sang-in in his new business.

Du-re temporarily lived with the couple, with Mo-rae not having the chance to tell Sang-in that he's the stranger she was confessing about. Not shocking enough, Du-re fell in love with the woman. Mo-rae in the very same way felt something for Du-re too.

And as how the story revolves, Sang-in found out about it, letting Mo-rae choose whom she really likes. And isn't she even guilty? BTW, the woman is pregnant. The father? It has no clarity, but I definitely think it's Sang-in.

The story ends with Du-re missing. Nobody knows where he is. Mo-rae and Sang-in are months divorced, but Sang-in proposed again to the woman. As always, love is something that we could never escape. One, two... there could never be three in love.

Personally speaking, I don't get the point through it all. The movie is like a fragment having no strong thought at all. I wonder why it even got a 5-star rating at mysoju. I was so disappointed.
